TinyAlbum FAQ

TinyAlbum is "Photo Sharing Made Easy". It allows users to post unlimited original images and maintain their size and resolution (up to 8mb each). Users can create public albums and share or comment on with friends and family, or post private, password-protected images and albums not available to the public.

Are there limitations on the number of photos I can add to my album?

No. Albums can consist of any number of photos you wish to put there.

Are there limitations on the file size or file types for uploads?

Yes. Images have to be less than 8MB each and filetypes must be .jpg or .png.

Who can comment on my photos?

Anybody who is a registered member of TinyAlbum. They do not need an album of their own, but if they are a member, they can comment. This is to eliminate spam comments from bots or programs designed to blast 1000's of comments at a time with junk.

How do I upload my photos?

Please see our TinyAlbum Tutorial on how to do this.

Why don't I see my uploaded images?

Images have to be .jpg or .png extensions in order to appear in your album. This is to deter any animated .gif files or other file types from being uploaded.

What kind of content can I upload to my album?

You can upload any type of image that is not illegal or subject to copyright laws. We request that any albums with adult content be made into private albums. We regularly moderate our public albums and we will contact the owners of any public albums with inappropriate content. If we do not hear back within 24 hours, we will make your album private for you.

A moderator made my album private, why? How do I access it now?

If your album was made private by a moderator, it contained inappropriate content for a public album. You can still access your album by logging in as before and using the default password set for your album "password123".

I'd like to use a photo I found on TinyAlbum. How do I do that?

Email information is currently kept private through TinyAlbum registration. In the near future, users will have the option to make their email publically available if they wish to do so. For the time being, please leave a comment on the photo for the album owner stating your interest or asking for permission. Be sure to leave contact information so they can reply.

ANY PUBLIC ALBUMS FOUND WITH ILLEGAL MATERIAL (ie: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY) WILL BE INSTANTLY DELETED ALONG WITH THE USER ACCOUNT. Private albums are private and TinyAlbum assumes no liability to any uploaded materials we cannot access. Keep in mind that all uploads go to a large database and if audited by authorities for suspected illegal materials, we will hand over access to the database and any available contact information.
